Arranged by Adviser Chato Calderon, UPERDFI discussed opportunities with parties based in San Francisco USA in a zoom meeting on August 3. UPERDFI, Dynamico, the Philippine Consulate and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) explored potential collaboration to commercialize Philippine innovation projects.

Dynamico is a co-working space and incubation hub renting space in the Philippine Embassy Building in San Francisco. The team discussed ways to bring Philippine and US mentors together to share insights on converting innovations to start-up businesses. DTI also shared their services in support of Filipino innovators.

The meeting was attended by Jed Llona, SFO Consul, Celynne Layug, SFO DTI Trade Attache and  JR Calanoc, Dynamico CEO. In attendance for UPERDFI were Val Reyes, Chicho Mantaring, Chato Calderon, Vic Villagracia and Tito Aliga.
