Dr. Luis J. Pascual, UPERDFI Founding Secretary and UP Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research Founding Chairman, started the UPERDFI Golden Anniversary Fund Drive in support of engineering projects with societal impact. The application of the donation is being discussed.
Dr. Pascual established a Professorial Chair dedicated to Systems Thinking and System Dynamics in 2015 and also donated a licensed software to enable STSD instruction and widespread application.
Our Golden Anniversary Fund Drive has a P50 Million goal, over the next three years, from 2022-23 through 2024-25. The Resource Generation Committee has taken the lead in crafting the fund-raising plan. Our Adviser Dr. Mag Albarracin has pledged to make a matching donation of 50% of whatever we raise up to September 30, 2025.
