On June 22, the UP Alumni Engineers, with the generous hosting at the Manila Golf Club by our Adviser Sid Consunji, conducted a successful fundraising to replenish and build the Study Now Pay Later Program. The original SNPL Fund was set up in 2016 and has benefitted almost 150 students.

UPAE leaders President Joey Gomez, ED Eric Tingatinga, and our member Carbs Bayombong who is a UPAE Trustee, explained the features of the overhauled loaning scheme which will improve fund sustainability. Two alumni, one of them being our member Tony Ostrea, donated significant amounts on the spot, handing over their checks to UPAE. Another donor wanted to remain behind the lines.
