Bakas Pilipnas, a non-profit foundation, and AMH Philippines are beefing up the software suite of the ICE Computational Laboratories by donating a software called DIANA-FEA, a widely-used tool for preservation engineering. Bakas Pilipinas is led by a New York-based Filipina architect, Ms. Roz Z. Li. Her firm, Li/Salzmann Architects, specializes in providing technical support for restoration of old structures that are classified as heritage items. They are working with AMH Philippines in the restoration work for the Antequera Church in Bohol which was damaged in the 2013 earthquake.

The ICE Computational Laboratories is headed by Prof. Errol Quinay of the ICE Structural Engineering Group.

Founded in 1999 by practicing UP Engineering alumni, the present AMH Chairman is Egbert Abiad CE ‘67, who was one of the founders. We have several members leading AMH – ICE professors Tonette Tanchuling, Jon Kasilag, Alexis Acacio, Roy Luna; former Chairman Rod Salazar, and directors Ega Atanacio and Chicho Mantaring.
