To formalize our collaboration with UP Diliman in helping move UP research results to deliver their promised impacts to society, UPERDFI President Ferdz de la Cruz and UP Diliman Chancellor Dr. Fidel Nemenzo signed two MOUs in a virtual ceremony on March 2, 2021. One involves the UPD Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) and the other with the UPSCALE Technology Incubator. In both instances, UPERDFI will support initiatives to move UPD research results closer to society’s benefit. And further forward, enlist members to provide mentoring and business development support to start-ups with significant market potentials.

UPERDFI Innovation Committee Chairman Chicho Mantaring led the documentation effort, working with UPSCALE and TTBDO. UPD Vice Chancellor for R&D Gonzalo Campoamor II, UPCOE Dean Ferdie Manegdeg, UPSCALE Director Dr. Luis Sison, TTBDO Director Dr. Jong Vazquez and UPERDFI ED Tito Aliga signed as Witnesses. Attending the event were representatives of TTBDO, UPSCALE and UPERDFI Innovation Committee members.
