UPERDFI signed an agreement with Japan Foundation Manila to manage funds which the latter will donate to implement the We Project Design Challenge. The objective of the project is to promote inclusive designs for people with disabilities in the Philippines and in Japan. Activities were launched last October with UPSCALE, UP Diliman’s Innovation Hub, as JFM and UPERDFI’s implementation partner. A Demo Day was held on January 30 with four teams participating. Two teams were selected to receive seed funding from JFM to continue with their inclusive design projects.
