UPCOE Dean Ferdie Manegdeg endorsed the roster prepared by the College Academic Personnel Committee for the proposed recipients of Professorial Chair Awards and Teaching/Research Awards and Grants for 2020. The first three lists comprise 132 chairs and 33 TRAGs. The roster includes seven chairs administered by the UP Foundation, out of 13 that are meant for Engineering professors. The final list is expected shortly. The Faculty Colloquium Series will start on Monday October 19 with the Dept of Chemical Engineering, followed by geodetic Engineering October 21, and Dept of Computer Science on October 26.
