CROSSING OVER TO THE NEXT GOLDEN AGE
The UP Engineering Research and Development Foundation, Inc. was established on August 3, 1972 to support the UP College of Engineering in its mission to produce top-notch engineers and promote research and development toward nation-building. UPERDFI took the Golden Anniversary as an opportunity to reflect upon its first 50 years of establishment.
With the continuous support of UP engineering alumni and friends, UPERDFI has grown from the initial asset base from an endowment fund of PhP 300,000 in 1972 to PhP 320,000,000 in 2022. This has enabled UPERDFI to sustain its support for the UP College of Engineering.
UPERDFI aims to strengthen support for the UP College of Engineering, advance research and development projects with meaningful societal impact, and maximize its network of members, alumni, and partners to sustain programs and expand its initiatives.
