Represented by Chairman Lito Bermudo and Executive Director Tito Aliga, UPERDFI successfully joined the DOST Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Session held on September 15, 2026 at the DOST Teknolohiya Conference Room in Taguig City.
To implement its push to maximize the impact of DOST-certified S&T Foundations, the DOST S&T Foundations organized the Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop, aiming to harmonize or unify efforts of the individual foundations. With the idea of setting up manageable networks through Local-Area Clusters, DOST put together the Quezon City Cluster.
UPERDFI is one of eight foundations tasked to discuss how it undertakes its operations. Ultimately, inter-foundation collaboration could be pursued to optimize efforts and deliver more impactful programs. Chairman Lito and ED Tito took active part in the discussions, insisting that whatever we do, we must focus on getting ideas converted to actual solutions to address matters of urgent concern, at the LGU onto the national level!
